Di cosa parla Drucker in the Dug-Out?

Decisamente particolare la trama del romanzo del 2009, il cui titolo si può tradurre all'incirca in "Cosa succede se una ragazza manager di una squadra di baseball del liceo legge "Management" di Drucker?, la storia infatti si dipana intorno alla figura di una normale liceale di nome Minami Kawashima, che diventa la manager della squadra di baseball della Hodokubo High School di Tokyo. A cambiare la sua vita, e quella della sua squadra, sarà l'acquisto casuale di Management: Tasks, Responsibilities, Practices, una delle più famose guide sulla produttività scritte di Peter Drucker; guidata dai consigli del guru austro-americano, Minami cercherà in tutti i modi di dare nuove motivazioni a una squadra ormai allo sbando.

With Yūnosuke forced to make the definitive bat, he makes the same play that Minami once did when she was younger, the play that inspired Yuki to love baseball, allowing the runners to reach home and clinch the match. As the team celebrate their victory, Minami has a vision of seeing Yuki, remembering all the good times they shared together. With the memories of Yuki in their hearts, the team moves on to the nationals, hoping to play baseball the way the customers want.
